There are 20 different references to dreams recorded in the Bible. SO, the Lord used 20 different examples that we can all learn from on how the Spirit of God directed the affairs of men.
Please review the following dreams found in the Bible:
1.) Abimelech — Genesis 20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.
2.)Jacob — Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
3.) Jacob — Genesis 31:11 And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.
4.)Laban — Genesis 31:24 And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
5.)Joseph — Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

14.)Nebuchadnezar — Daniel 4:18 This dream I king Nebuchadnezar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
